All faculty and staff of Saint Michael School hold current required Pennsylvania clearances and are in compliance with the Diocese of Erie child protection requirements.
The faculty of Saint Michael School are dedicated lay teachers. All teachers are qualified educators who minister to meet the needs of all children entrusted to their care, through participation in workshops, conferences, and in-service programs to remain current in their profession. Our teachers demonstrate both an expertise in their subject matter as well as a love of teaching. All teachers have Pennsylvania certification and meet the Pennsylvania Department of Education requirements for Act 48 hours/credits, have all required clearances, and meet the standards for the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
