Scholarships

The following scholarships are available for students in grades three through seven at St. Michael:

Becky DeCapua Tokar Memorial Scholarship	Tuition amount varies; based on kindness to others, creativity, financial need, with additional consideration given to those of Italian descent
Mary Ellen Karr, Janet Hurd, Carol and Susan Martiny Memorial Scholarship	Full tuition based on financial need
Matthias James Neustupa Memorial Scholarship	$250.00, based on excellence in math and music and financial need

The following scholarships are available for sixth graders going to seventh grade at St. Michael:

Barbara Ann Bayuk Memorial Scholarship	Full tuition based on academics, financial need and service to the physically or mentally challenged
Saint Thomas Aquinas Scholarship	Partial/full tuition for a student who has first honors for all grading periods (amount varies due to interest rates))
Class of 1965 Scholarship	$200.00, based on financial need
Fr. John Marshall Memorial Scholarship	$200.00, based on academic excellence and financial need
Augusta Tiberi Marini Scholarship	Full tuition based on academic excellence and financial need
Edward & Elizabeth Geis Memorial Scholarship	Based on financial need (amount varies, was full tuition in 2001)

The following scholarships are available to seventh graders going to eighth at St. Michael:

Marguerite Monroe Walton Scholarship	Full tuition based on financial need, scholarship and Christian character (two available)
Loretta G. Monroe Memorial Scholarship	Full tuition based on financial need, scholarship and Christian service
Betty Ann Valentine Memorial Scholarship	Full tuition based on financial need, scholarship and Christian service
Louis & Rose Karg Memorial Scholarship	Full tuition based on scholarship and financial aid (may be divided into two)

All of the above scholarships require that the student seeking the scholarship write a letter to the school principal telling why he/she would like to receive the scholarship. Letters must be typed. Letters must be submitted by May 1, 2007.

STAR Foundation Scholarship Grants are available to families each year. Applications from the Diocese are available from each school and must be submitted by the date specified, usually early March.
